We pride ourselves on publishing insights before they have been formally announced but as the industry is always evolving that means that we occasionally get it wrong.

When you are redirected to the recruiter’s Applicant Tracking System (ATS) you are unable to use your ToilOil.com CV / resume however recruiters and employers who have access to our CV / resume database can still search for you if your CV / resume is visible.
Absolutely. We have regular contributors covering specific companies and countries however we appreciate all submissions. Members will see prompts to submit their insights / updates whilst non-members can submit insights through our contact us page.
Absolutely! We understand that you might have your own Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and tools for filtering candidates. When you post your job you will be provided with the option to accept and track applicants through ToilOil.com or redirect them to a different website. If you redirect applicants to a third-party website we will still track the number of views and ‘apply clicks’ so you can continue to assess our value.
The job may have been deleted. Otherwise, if the job is still being advertised then the recruiter / employer most likely requested that candidates be redirected to their own website or Applicant Tracking System (ATS). In such cases we are unable to confirm if you completed the application process and therefore ToilOil.com will not track the application.
No! We respect your privacy and understand that you may be sharing confidential information so we will also keep your details confidential.
There is no cost for recruiters / employers to create an account and browse the ToilOil.com jobs section. However, let’s be honest, we also need to cover our costs to ensure we can continue to evolve and we are obviously not charging job seekers to post their CV / resume or search for jobs. As such, there are costs involved to access certain features of the site such as recruiters / employers posting jobs and searching the extensive CV / resume database. This also assists with ensuring that job postings are genuine.
You have a lot of control over your CV / resume visibility, which can be managed through the ‘My Account’ section of ToilOil.com Jobs. When creating or editing your CV / resume you can choose to have it visible to recruiters / employers so employers (e.g. Shell, BP and Halliburton) that have access to the CV / resume database can find your details when they complete a CV / resume search. If you do not select this option then your CV / resume will not show up in search results but will still be visible to anyone that has your unique ToilOil.com CV / resume link, which you’re welcome to share with others.
You can also choose to make your CV / resume hidden at any time so it is only visible to you or for whatever reason you can choose to delete it however we warn you that once it has been deleted we cannot recover the information.
