Global Oil & Gas Salary Trends & Analysis

The majority of regions saw oil and gas salaries trend lower in 2016 whilst 2017 is continuing to see a slow recovery in line with oil and gas prices as operations have picked-up in certain regions particularly North America. Whilst oil and gas salaries do not appear to have reduced too significantly during the downturn it us understood that benefits have reduced and there have been significant headcount reductions. Additionally, the worldwide averages have been partly offset by growth in average salaries throughout the Middle East.
